Autumn: A Golden Period of Tourism

In November 2024, Albania welcomed 1,265,009 visitors, including locals and international travelers. This reflects a significant 15.1% rise compared to the same time last year.

According to data from the Institute of Statistics, these figures underscore a thriving trend and the sustainable growth of the tourism sector in Albania.

This autumn influx showcases Albania’s emergence as a sought-after destination for tourists in search of mild weather and stunning natural landscapes following the bustling summer months.

In another interesting statistic, INSTAT reports that 1,275,333 individuals, both Albanian and foreign, departed from Albania, indicating an 18.6% increase from the previous year.

Several factors contribute to this rise in visitors, including favorable weather conditions, enhanced infrastructure and services, fresh tourism offerings, a secure environment, competitive pricing, local experiences, and robust promotion of destinations to encourage year-round tourism.
