Record Increase in Visitor Inflow to Albania. In November 2024, Albania has marked an extraordinary increase in the number of visitors, with 1.265.009 Albanian and foreign citizens entering the country's territory, an increase of 15,1% compared to the same period in 2023.
Data published by the Institute of Statistics speaks of a positive trend and sustainable development of the tourism industry in Albania.
This phenomenon, which occurs during the autumn months, proves that Albania is becoming a favorite destination for tourists seeking a mild climate and amazing natural scenery after the summer season.
Also, according to INSTAT, there are 1.275.333 citizens, Albanians and foreigners, who have left Albania, with an increase of 18,6% compared to the previous year.
As factors for the increase in the number of visitors, we can list several, such as: suitable climatic conditions, improved infrastructure and services, new tourism offers, security and stability, more reasonable prices, local activities, and the promotion of destinations in the fall within the framework of year-round tourism.
