The annual marathon “Vlora Run” returns to the city of Vlora, continuing the coastal city’s long-standing tradition. This year, the marathon is part of Vlora’s designation as the “European City of Sports.”

“Vlora Run” brings together participants from across the country, the Balkan region, and beyond for a sporting event filled with excitement and numerous prizes for the competitors.

On Sunday, April 21, the bay of Vlora will serve as the backdrop for the event, offering not just the thrill of competition but also the stunning coastal scenery and a wealth of attractions that appeal to both tourists and locals alike.

The Vlora Marathon is among the sports tourism highlights of this year’s National Calendar of Tourist Events and the TEA Application, providing insight into nearby attractions for event attendees.
