Floqi Lake is a unique natural formation located near the village of Floq, at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. This small karst lake is formed at the outlet of a karst spring, which emerges at the tectonic-lithological contact between the limestones of Upper Crete and the molasses of Torton. Its water is clean, cold and abundant, creating a pleasant and peaceful environment for visitors.
The lake has exceptional scientific values, including geological, geomorphological, hydrological and biological aspects. It also has cultural, didactic and touristic values, offering opportunities for mountain hiking, flora and fauna observation, as well as relaxation in nature.
