Tourism Developments, AKT Director meets with the Ambassador of the Netherlands

The latest developments in tourism in Albania and the launch of direct flights from Amsterdam to Tirana were at the center of the meeting held today by the Director General of the National Tourism Agency, Zana Çela, with the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Albania, Reinout Vos. 

The Director of AKT gave an overview of the developments in the tourism sector in Albania and informed Ambassador Vos about the organization of a Family Trip for the Transavia delegation from AKT, on April 15-17, to some of the most popular tourist destinations in Albania, with on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of Amsterdam-Tirana flights.

The Dutch ambassador said that Albania is becoming increasingly attractive to foreign tourists, as it has progressed in the development of rural tourism, agritourism and adventure tourism. 

In this regard, Ms. Çela emphasized the importance of the TEA National Events Calendar, distributed in 76 countries around the world, which is now a guide for foreign tourists, with activities throughout the year.
