Transavia Airlines, two-day tourist trip to Albania accompanied by AKT

As part of the presentation of Albania in the international arena, the National Tourism Agency organized the visit of the CEO of Transavia Airline Marcel De Nooijer, as well as Dutch tour operators and journalists, who visited Albania from April 15-17.

During this trip with Dutch friends and the professional guide of archaeologist Ols Lafe, a tour took place from the Belsh Lakes, a Mediterranean wonder of the Dumre area, to the UNESCO city of Berat, which even on a rainy day surprises you with its centuries-old magic.

The Mangalem neighborhood, the "Onufri" Museum, the Berat Castle, the beautiful cobblestone streets, the "Çobo" Winery were the places that were visited in the city of "One on One Windows".

In Vlora, the friends from the Netherlands and the AKT staff were warmly welcomed by Mayor Ermal Dredha, who expressed his satisfaction that Vlora was also selected in this round.

The walk to the island of Zvërnec, along the coastline of Vlora, where investment in infrastructure is strongly felt, and the conclusion of this journey with the thousand-year-old Durrës were just a few highlights of a visit, the effects of which are being translated into an increase in the interest of Dutch visitors to visit Albania.

Transavia CEO Marcel De Nooijer expressed his admiration for Albania's natural and cultural potential with these words: "This week, together with business partners and the tourism media, I was able to visit beautiful Albania to see with my own eyes what beauty there is to discover there. Transavia is happy to be able to contribute to this economic growth and connect the Netherlands even more with Albania," said Mr. De Nooijer.

Mr. De Nooijer expressed his gratitude for the support of AKT on this tour to Albania and expressed his satisfaction that this summer there will be many Dutch citizens who will discover Albania and enjoy the extraordinary Albanian hospitality.
