Thethi is a mountainous village located in the Shala Administrative Unit, part of the Shkodër Municipality, in northwestern Albania. Located in the Thethi Valley, within the Albanian Alps massif, the village is known for its wild landscapes and untouched nature.
The road to Theth passes through the Tërthore Pass, at an altitude of about 2000 meters, from where the descent towards the Theth Pit begins, near the stream that bears the same name. During the journey, the panoramas of the Alps offer impressive views, turning the journey into an attraction in itself.
In Theth are some of the most popular tourist spots in the Alps, such as the Grunas Waterfall, the Grunas Canyon, the Okoli Cold Springs, and Mount Harapi, which attract local and foreign visitors every year.
Thanks to its position and the growing interest in mountain tourism, Thethi has developed as an alpine tourist center, with traditional guesthouses and dwellings that preserve the characteristic architecture of the area.
