Tirana's Artificial Lake is located in the center of the capital, within the Grand Park. It was created in the 1950s as a flood control project. With an area of 55 hectares, the lake is today one of the most frequented areas for relaxation.
Surrounded by green spaces, promenades, sports areas and cafes, the lake serves as an important relaxation spot for Tirana residents, offering opportunities for walking, running, cycling and cultural activities.
