Vunoi, one of the pearls of the Ionian coast, is a small coastal tourist village located south of the city of Vlora.
Situated on a hill, while traveling through the cobblestone streets of the village you can find shelter near the stone houses as well as visit the historic church of Shën Kolli or the church of Shën Mëria in the center of the village.
The area around Vunoi is wonderful for hiking up the mountain beyond the village, or along the way to the Gjipesa canyon, where magical nature captivates you and takes your breath away. The two closest beaches when you get down from Vunoi are Gjipesa and Jala Beach, pearls of the Albanian Riviera.
