Orikum

Orikum as a tourist village has a special character because it lies between the bay of Vlora and the entrance to the Albanian Riviera, near the Llogara Park. It preserves the atmosphere of a coastal settlement where life is linked to the sea and traditional agriculture such as olive trees, vineyards and fishing, while at the same time offering elements of a modern center with a port and new tourist areas. In the summer, the residents turn their houses and villas into family guesthouses, giving visitors the opportunity to experience authentic hospitality.

What makes Orikum special compared to other tourist villages in Vlora is the historical wealth of the ancient city, where the ruins of the amphitheater, cobblestone streets and the remains of defensive walls are found. In the same area, vacationers find long and quiet beaches that differ from the more overcrowded ones of the Riviera. The Orikum Lagoon adds a natural dimension and is a place rich in biodiversity that attracts lovers of hiking and bird watching. The proximity to Llogara completes the experience by providing opportunities for mountain tourism, hiking and tasting traditional cuisine with local products. Orikum is a suitable destination for families and couples who want a quiet vacation, but also for travelers who seek to connect the sea with culture and mountain walks.
