Kallmet

Kallmeti is a village located in the municipality of Lezha, located under the Vela mountain range and in the Zadrima plain. The village has a long history, and archaeological findings show that it has been inhabited since the Neolithic period until late antiquity. The culture, traditional clothing and products have made Kallmet a special ethnographic unit in this region. Among the most famous monuments is the Church of Euphemia, a holy place of the 13th century, visited by believers from the northern regions of Albania.
