The Irish daily "The Irish News" chooses Albania as one of the holiday destinations for 2025. For the Belfast newspaper, Albania is the best country for adventure tourism, among countries such as Spain, Norway, Egypt, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"Whether strolling along cobblestone streets, gazing at mountain peaks or swimming in the azure waters, it's easy to confuse Albania with its neighbor across the Adriatic Sea. But compared to Italy, the beaches are quieter, the hidden attractions are more numerous and the prices are significantly cheaper."
"Learn about the past through the Ottoman, fascist and Soviet architecture of the capital Tirana, hike trails in Valbona National Park and relax on the golden beaches of the Albanian Riviera," writes journalist Sarah Marshall in the article. She recommends travelers spend their money wisely and choose affordable vacation spots.
