Zana Çela, the General Director of the National Tourism Agency (NTA), embarked on a series of productive meetings with the mayors of key municipalities including Shkodra, Vlora, Durrës, Saranda, Lushnje, Berat, Gjirokastra, and Permet. The focus of these discussions revolved around enhancing the National Calendar of Tourism Events, encompassing aspects of culture, arts, tradition, and sports (TEA).
Engaging with mayors such as Benet Beci, Ermal Dredha, Emiriana Sako, Eriselda Sefa, Oltion Çaçi, Ervin Demo, Flamur Golemi, and Alma Hoxha, significant attention was given to elevating the TEA application’s services. The objective remains clear: to position TEA as the primary resource for both local and international tourists seeking information on activities and services.
These meetings mark the beginning of a broader effort to extend these discussions to other municipalities across the country. The aim is to showcase the country’s magnificent natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage through a series of curated artistic events. Ultimately, the goal is to foster sustainable and high-quality tourism growth.
The National Digital Calendar of Events, TEA, introduced last summer, has already established itself as a vital tool for thousands of tourists and vacationers exploring our country’s offerings.
