Mati and Klosi are two of the richest regions in terms of folk costumes.
Of particular interest are the women's clothing, which is very diverse in its patterns and variants. In addition, it is also distinguished by the vividness of the colors used in its embroidery. They are particularly fond of red and yellow. According to the specifications of the locals, they used patterns worn in different villages that are divided into 3 main groups; 'the white dress worn by Catholic peasant women, the black dress is called the folk costume worn by women where the process of Islamization occurred earlier, and the most widespread Klosjane dress, which means some patterns that are worn in almost most of the villages of Klos.' We must emphasize that this small island costume has been preserved, above all, because the village of Guri i Bardhë always maintained marital relations only with the village. Of particular and great interest is also the folk costume of Martanesh, which only administratively belongs to the district of Mat, otherwise ethnographically it is part of the folk costumes of the district of Librazhd. Therefore, the main parts of this costume are almost similar to the one worn in Chermenika. In general, all the elements of this costume are in white, but with few decorations. This type of clothing seems to be purely original and retains its shapes quite beautifully.
