Dances and songs

Matjane dances are energetic, reflecting the highland customs of the area. Among them are the Mati Dance, the Sword Dance, and the men's dances, as well as the traditional ritual of "Throwing the Slippers" at festivals.

Matjane songs often have epic and historical motifs, accompanied by traditional instruments such as the çiftelia, fiddle, lute and defi, preserving the cultural heritage and festive atmosphere of the area.
