Albania is close to the predictions for reaching 10 million tourists in 2023

The Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, during the presentation of objectives related to tourism, stated that the number of foreign tourists who visited Albania until the end of the year is 9.53 million.

According to Minister Kumbaro, compared to the period January – November 2022, there was an increase of 33%.

Statistical data from the Ministry of Tourism and Environment show that the month of November recorded of 547,221 foreign visitor arrivals, a significant increase (53%) more compared to November a year ago, which confirms, said Mrs. Kumbaro , increased trends to visit Albania in all months of the year, a positive indicator of the growth of year-round tourism.

The Ministry of Tourism and Environment has started preparations for Albania’s participation in the two international fairs Fitur – Madrid at the end of January and ITB – Berlin in March.

Albania will be the country of honor for the year 2025 at the most important Tourism fair, ITB – Berlin, with a one-year promotional program.
