The Director General of the National Tourism Agency, Zana Çela, received in a courtesy meeting the Ambassador of Israel to Albania, Ms. Galit Peleg, with whom she shared the conviction on the potential of welcoming more Israeli tourists to Albania during 2024, through advertising Albania on social networks.
Ambassador Peleg emphasized that the citizens of her country are very eager to come to vacation with their families in Albania as they see Albania as a safe place to bring their families.
Ms. Peleg also expressed the high interest of Israeli tour operators in recognizing Albania as a leading tourist destination in Southeast Europe, with the aim of turning our country into the main vacation destination for Israeli citizens.
During the conversation, ideas were exchanged about branding Albania as a tourist destination through its unique nature, the beauty of the coast, cultural heritage monuments, and the values of tolerance and civic coexistence, so valuable to Albanian culture.
