For the first time, the Ministry of Tourism and Environment and the National Tourism Agency presented the National Calendar of Tourism Events, through the TEA (Tourism Events of Albania) application, one of this year's technological innovations for Albanian cultural tourism.
At the opening of the event, the Director of the National Tourism Agency, Ms. Zana Çela, stated that TEA, divided into many categories, will bring the Albania of tourism of culture, agrotourism and cuisine, of local holidays and folklore festivals, and that of modern music, ensuring that the Albania of beautiful events does not remain outside the developments of the digital world.

Then we structured the event formats that suit tourist audiences. The creation of the TEA calendar and application will give us the opportunity to create a digital story about our brand and will help tourists in every corner of the globe to create a deeper emotional and unforgettable relationship with Albania", - the AKT director emphasized in her speech.
The Minister of Tourism and Environment, Ms. Mirela Kumbaro, said that our country has lacked a full menu of tourist Albania, of festivals and true cultural events that should not be missed.
"Here we are today with a much better organization orchestrated by the National Tourism Agency, and I want to thank Zana for this extraordinary work of milongone that she has done together with the staff of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment and the Agency, work for months and with all municipalities, with all art organizations, embassies, private companies and with the Ministry of Culture, with whom we are joining forces to build the National Tourism Calendar of Events", – said Minister Kumbaro.
For Prime Minister Mr. Edi Rama, the TEA application will take the presentation of Albania's tourism to the world to a higher level.
"We strongly believe that Albania as a tourist is beyond the wonderful waters of the sea, beyond the magical peaks of the mountains, beyond the valleys and natural beauties in general, and the reasons to visit Albania as a tourist are much more than that, and therefore the combination in our tourist offer of cultural heritage, culture, art, cooking and all kinds of traditional folkloric activities or even more contemporary activities, are an extraordinary opportunity to increase the capacity that Albania has in attracting tourists from all over the world", - stressed the prime minister.
