The International Tourism Fair FITUR, held in Madrid on January 24-28, concluded successfully for Albania, which promoted its unique offer to the entire tourism world, on natural tourism in the beauties of the Alps, coastal landscapes, cultural heritage tourism, traditional hospitality and culinary and artisanal products.
Throughout the days of the Fair, Albania's stand among the 152 participating countries was among the most visited and the interest in recognizing our country as a sustainable tourism destination was extremely high.
Along with the high-level state meetings held at our stand by Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, during these days, many meetings were held by the Director of the National Tourism Agency, Zana Çela, with foreign partners, foreign and Albanian tour operators, where cooperation in the field of tourism and new strategies in promoting tourism and presenting Albania as one of the leading destinations in the Southeast European region and beyond were discussed.
Under the spectacular interest of all interested parties, companies, businesses, media, and vacationers from Spain and various countries of the world received answers from the AKT staff on their requests for the magical attractions that Albania offers. Now, after sunny Madrid, our country is preparing for another important Fair.
