The Bysheku plane trees are one of the natural beauties of the Shushica area, near Elbasan, where nature offers a green landscape and cool shade under the trunks of centuries-old plane trees. This group of trees covers an area of about 0.4 ha, while the trees reach impressive heights and powerful diameters, testifying to a life that extends over several centuries, with traces of their existence in the natural history of the area.
Near the plane trees, natural water springs flow, which attract visitors and residents for coolness during the summer and provide a picturesque space for holidays and picnics. The landscape of the Shkumbin River valley, with the cold water flowing from karst springs and the shade of large trees, makes this place a beloved spot for relaxation and nature, traditionally called Byshek, a place of rest under plane trees and waters.
However, turnips have been affected by natural influences such as age and fires, which have damaged some trunks, affecting their condition, despite the high biological, aesthetic and recreational values they offer.
