Mount Munella is an important natural monument in Mirdita, with an altitude of 1,991 meters above sea level. The peak of Krojkut (Kryqit) constitutes the highest point of the mountain range that extends from northeast to southwest and is characterized by alpine relief, steep slopes, deep gorges and extensive pastures in the upper areas.
The Munella massif is mainly composed of volcanic rocks covered with limestone plates. Natural water processes have formed beautiful landscapes, which include gorges, pits and karst basins, as well as drinking water springs. These elements make Munella an area of high natural and environmental value.
