The Vjosa River, known as the “Mother of Rivers”, is one of the most beautiful and pristine rivers in Europe, and is considered the last wild river in Europe. It flows through the mountainous areas and green valleys of southwestern Albania, creating spectacular natural landscapes and preserving a rich biodiversity.
