Seven rivers flow through the territory of Tropoja, creating valleys with tourist and scientific value. They are: the Gashi River (whose valley has been declared a first-category National Park – Strictly Protected Area), the Valbona River (whose valley has been declared a National Natural Park), the Drini River, the Curraj River, the Skatina River, the Sylbica River and the Bytyç River.
