Uraka Canyon

The Uraka Canyon is an impressive natural monument located east of the village of Uraka. One side belongs to the Mirditë Municipality (Lufaj village), while the other side connects the villages of Gjonçaj, Dukagjin and Lam i Madh of the Mat Municipality.

With a depth of about 200 meters and a length of 3 kilometers, the canyon was formed by the erosive activity of the Urake River. Its vertical walls, caves and karst formations make the area spectacular and challenging to explore.
