The ruins of Gorica Castle are located above the picturesque neighborhood of the same name and represent one of the auxiliary fortifications of the city of Berat. Although now destroyed, its walls once protected the southern entrance to the city and provided a double defense alongside the Berat Castle. From this historical point, stunning views of the Osumi River, the Gorica Bridge and the Mangalem museum district appear. The peaceful atmosphere and strategic position make it an ideal place for a walk and reflection on Berat's 2400-year history.
