Graceni Cave is a natural attraction located near the village of Graceni in the Elbasan district of Albania, in a mountainous area that is historically linked to the territory of Krraba. The village of Graceni is located on high mountainous terrain and is mentioned as a settlement with a long history, while the area around it is characterized by hilly terrain and wild green nature.
From the village, to its northwest, lies a footpath about 0,7 km long, which leads to a rocky ridge at an altitude above sea level, about 700 m, where the cave is located.
The cave itself is a natural karst formation in limestone rocks, with a visible entrance. From available measurements, it has a recorded length of about 20 m, but has not yet been fully explored by speleologists or specialized researchers.
Within the space, the force of natural erosion has created interesting cavities and formations in the rock, making the cave an attractive place for nature visitors and explorers of the area, even though there is no developed tourist infrastructure.
Gracen Cave constitutes a small but interesting part of Albania's karst morphology, being valued as a place that can offer natural experiences and adventure, especially for those who wish to explore the mountainous areas surrounding the village of Gracen.
