The Flag Pine is located in the Llogara National Park, at an altitude of about 1,000 meters above sea level. This monumental pine, with a curved trunk in the shape of a waving flag, is one of the most recognizable symbols of the park and a must-see for any visitor traveling the Llogara–Dhermi panoramic road.
The view offered by the surrounding area includes a wide horizon over the Albanian Riviera, the Çika Mountains and the Ionian Sea, turning the area into one of the most photographed spots in the south.
The Flag Pine has been declared a Natural Monument for its biological and aesthetic values. It symbolizes the sustainability and connection between man and Albanian nature, becoming a tourist attraction and national symbol of the Llogara Park.
