The Blue Eye is one of the most famous natural monuments in Albania, located in the village of Muzinë, about 18 km from Saranda. It is a karst spring with crystal blue water, which emerges from a depth of over 45 meters. Its appearance, with the deep blue color in the center and the green around it, creates the optical effect of an “eye”.
The Blue Eye has been declared a Natural Monument for its hydro-geological, aesthetic and touristic values. It is one of the most visited attractions in the south of the country, especially during the summer.
