Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro and the Rector of the College of Europe, Federica Mogherini, signed in Tirana a Memorandum of Cooperation for the promotion of Albania's cultural, historical and natural heritage, through the engagement of College of Europe students.
According to this agreement, the Ministry of Tourism, through the National Tourism Agency, will design tourist itineraries and their guidance through certified guides, with the aim of promoting Albania's fantastic destinations.
During this meeting, which was also attended by the Director General of the National Tourism Agency, Zana Çela, Minister Kumbaro expressed her pleasure that the College of Europe will not only welcome Albanian students, but also from all over Europe, who will not only learn the skills and oratory in diplomacy and political sciences, but will also have the opportunity to visit Albania and become the new ambassadors for the promotion of Albania's tourism across the continent, according to their personal perspective and experience.
Rector Mogherini emphasized that thanks to this memorandum, we offer a very interesting opportunity to College of Europe students to understand and experience the Albanian reality up close, through the discovery of the rich culture, the country's treasures, the beauties of nature and the historical heritage of Albania.
