Pirogosh Cave

Pirogoshi Cave, located near the village of Radesh in Skrapar, is the largest and most interesting cave in the Skrapar district. With a length of 1,252 meters, it offers a natural labyrinth with large halls, narrow galleries and special forms such as stalactites, stalagmites and calcite columns. Its entrance is 12 meters wide and 4–5 meters high, making it an attractive attraction for visitors and researchers. The cave is also home to a colony of bats and has been visited by many foreign speleological groups, including French and Dutch ones. Its full exploration was carried out in 1995 by Italian speleologists of the “Puglia Grotte and Dauno” groups
