It is located in a very strategic place, in Klosi e Epërm, once called Qyteze. The city had 250 towers and it was the most trusted families and warriors of the Kastriots who guarded the entrance gate to the Mati Basin and the Durres Backbone, “Qafa e Buallit, otherwise Qafa e Bardhë”. The settlement was later called “vshati kanun”, otherwise KREMATJA! It was probably called that 2000 years ago.

The very name "Çita e Cukalit" leads us to the name Çita = City.
The city's top has an area of 700 square meters! There are traces of stone ruins, ceramic and metal remains, shields, swords, spears as they were left during the battles with the Turks.
This is compared to Petralbe in the village, to Ceruje, the Alimarinë of Bulqiza, that of Gjurra, the fortress on the crest of Mount Thanë. The special thing is that it is a knife with the Mat River and 600 meters above the river's height.
