Slatinja Baths are a unique cultural and historical attraction, located in the village of Slatinjë, about 5 km southwest of Çorovodë, in the Skrapar region. These medieval baths, built during the Ottoman period, served as hammams for the soldiers of the Turkish garrison and those who defended the Gjenevizit Castle. The baths are built of masterful stone and have arches typical of the medieval period, testifying to an early civilization and advanced organization.
They are located next to the village mosque, which has also fallen into ruin over time. For those interested in the medieval history and culture of Albania, the Slatinja Baths offer an excellent opportunity to explore some of the country's cultural heritage.
