Oven-Roasted Lamb – Skrapar Tradition
This is the most typical traditional food of Skrapar — slow-roasted lamb in the oven or on a spit with local spices, accompanied by fresh salad and local bread. The dish is a staple of local festive tables and is often served at family events or community celebrations.
Pie — traditional pasta pie, filled with cheese, spinach, meat or vegetables. Found in almost every area of Albania and often prepared at home.
Fërgese — a delicious dish of stewed peppers, tomatoes, and cheese, often with meat (especially in central areas).
Stuffed peppers — peppers stuffed with rice and sometimes meat, baked in the oven.
They are with beans. — warm white bean soup, very popular in central and northern Serbia.
Meatballs — baked or fried meatballs, common for family celebrations or holidays.
