The Saraje of Ali Bey Këlcyrë is located on a hill at the entrance to the Këlcyrë Gorge and represents one of the most magnificent complexes built in 19th-century Albania. Built by the noble Këlcyrë family, the complex included several four-story towers and residences with oriental and Balkan architecture.
The building was partially destroyed in 1914 by the Greek invaders, but its ruins remain an important historical and architectural testimony. Thanks to its strategic location and stunning view over the Vjosa valley, the Saraje are a special attraction for visitors seeking to discover the cultural heritage of the area.
