Porto Palermo Castle

Situated on a picturesque peninsula between Himara and Qeparo, Porto Palermo Castle is one of the most unique fortresses on the Albanian Riviera. Built in the early 19th century by Ali Pasha Tepelena, the castle had strategic importance for the protection of the bay and the sea routes of the area.

With a triangular shape and round towers at each corner, it is well preserved and offers a magnificent panoramic view over the Ionian Sea. The castle is surrounded by crystal blue waters and untouched nature, making it a favorite attraction for visitors looking to combine history with natural beauty.
