JOB VACANCY NOTICE

Head of the Information System and Events Calendar Development Sector

Tourism Promotion Directorate

The National Tourism Agency (NTA), in implementation of:

I. CONDITIONS THAT THE CANDIDATE MUST FULFILL

A. General Conditions

Candidates must meet all of the following conditions:

a. Have Albanian citizenship;

b. To enjoy full capacity to act;

c. To enjoy moral and professional integrity;

d. Be able to work;

e. Not have been convicted by a final court decision for committing a crime or criminal offense intentionally;

f. Not have been deprived of the right to exercise his/her duties in the public administration by a final court decision;

g. Not have been dismissed from the public administration for disciplinary violations and not have a serious disciplinary measure in force according to the Labor Code;

h. There should be no conflict of interest with the task or function to be performed.

B. Special Requirements

Candidates must also meet the following specific requirements:

1. Have completed higher education in economic sciences/marketing;

2. Have excellent written and spoken communication skills in Albanian;

3. Be well versed in Albanian and English spelling;

4. Have organizational skills and carry out work efficiently, effectively and within deadlines;

5. To know and apply the rules of ethics and professional conduct in public administration.

II. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Head of the Information System and Events Calendar Development Sector of the Tourism Promotion Directorate performs the following duties and bears the following responsibilities:

1. Coordination and Drafting of the Calendar of Events – Coordinates, collects and orients the annual and periodic calendar of tourist, artistic and cultural events organized by state and private event-producing institutions, ensuring a complete, accurate and updated overview of the national event offer.

2. Data Collection and Statistical Analysis – Collects, processes and analyzes statistical data generated by the TEA application, structuring it according to time periods, geographical locations, event typologies and user demographics, in order to support decision-making processes and institutional reporting.

3. Selection of Events for Official Social Networks – Proposes and selects the most suitable events for promotion on the official social network channels of the National Tourism Agency, based on criteria of tourist importance, cultural impact and promotional potential.

4. Communication with Event Producing Institutions – Establishes and maintains communication with the contact points of state and private institutions that organize events, ensuring the continuous flow of information and real-time updating of the event calendar.

5. Participation in Digitalization Projects – Actively participates in events, meetings and projects related to the digitalization of tourism and tourist information services, representing the sector and contributing to the development of innovative digital solutions.

6. Monitoring and Control of the TEA Application – Conducts periodic checks of the functionalities and options of the TEA application, verifies the proper functioning of the modules, identifies technical or operational problems and reports on improvement needs to the relevant structures.

7. Performs any other duties assigned by the Director General, within the scope of responsibilities of the AKT.

III. REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

Interested candidates submit the application request to the AKT Protocol Office, within the announced deadline, accompanied by the following documentation:

1. Curriculum vitae (CV) completed in Albanian, according to the standards of Albanian legislation, and a motivation letter;

2. Notarized copy of the diploma. For diplomas obtained outside the Republic of Albania, attach the certificate from the Ministry of Education;

3. Notarized list of grades;

4. Photocopy of the work book (all pages that prove work experience);

5. Photocopy of identity card (ID);

6. Certificate of health status;

7. Self-declaration of judicial status / Proof of criminal record;

8. Any other documentation that proves the training, qualifications, additional education or positive evaluations mentioned in the resume.

 Failure to submit documentation on time and in full will automatically result in the candidate's disqualification.

IV. METHOD AND DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION

All interested candidates are requested to submit their application to AKT Protocol Office, to date 24/04/2026, ora 10:00, with object:

"Application for the job position: Head of the Information System and Events Calendar Development Sector at the Tourism Promotion Directorate at the National Tourism Agency"

*Initially, this position is offered to internal employees. If it is not filled by them, AKT may accept candidacies from outside the institution.

V. EVALUATION AND SELECTION PROCESS

1. After the deadline, the Human Resources Unit verifies the submitted documentation.

2. Candidates who meet the required criteria will be notified via e-mail of the date and time of the structured oral interview.

3. The selection of the winning candidate will be done through a competition with a dossier and a direct interview.
