The journey begins in the territory of Tropoja, one of the most important alpine areas of Northern Albania, located on the northern border of the country and surrounded by the Albanian Alps. Arrival in Bajram Curri, the administrative center of the area, is accompanied by an orientation walk that provides an introduction to local urban life and the role of the city as a connecting point for surrounding mountain destinations. The city serves as a base for exploring the alpine valleys and traditional villages of Tropoja.
The program continues towards the Valbona Valley, one of the most famous natural areas of Albania. The valley is crossed by the Valbona River and is characterized by mountainous terrain, alpine pastures, forests and traditional settlements. The area offers suitable conditions for easy nature walks, panoramic stops and acquaintance with the alpine ecosystem.
Within the territory of Valbona National Park, visitors are introduced to the area's natural values, biodiversity and its importance as a protected area. The park represents a key element of Albanian mountain tourism and offers a peaceful environment for relaxation and direct contact with nature.
The day also includes visits to characteristic villages such as Dragobi and Çerem, known for their traditional architecture, alpine lifestyle and close connection with nature. These areas offer opportunities to understand the social and economic organization of mountain communities. The day ends with free time in Valbona or Tropoja, with accommodation and dinner with traditional local cuisine, based on local products.
