Day 01

History and Panoramic Landscapes: Petrelë
The first day is dedicated to history and nature around Tirana, with a visit to Petrelë Castle, located about 15 km southeast of the capital on a rocky hill with impressive views. Since antiquity, this castle has played a strategic role in controlling important economic and military routes, including the branch of the Via Egnatia (Durrës–Tirana–Elbasan).
The castle is easily accessible by bus from the Southeast Terminal; in about 20 minutes you arrive at Mamica Square, in the center of Petrelë. Visitors may choose to enjoy a traditional lunch at the restaurant located inside the castle, taking advantage of the panoramic view over the surrounding valley.
For hiking enthusiasts, a walking trail is recommended from Petrelë Castle to the Ancient Settlement of Persqopi, the highest preserved fortification in the territory of Albania, as well as to the Monumental Tomb dating back to the XNUMXth–XNUMXrd centuries BC. It is an ideal day for combining history with physical activity and nature.

Day 02

Nature and Adventure: Pëllumbas and Erzen
The second day begins with a trip to Pëllumbas Cave, one of the most visited natural attractions near Tirana, located in the Bërzhitë area. You can travel by bus to the village of Pëllumbas and then follow a well-marked trail that leads to the cave. During the hike, the scenery of the Erzen River valley and the peaceful natural surroundings create a relaxing experience.
After visiting the cave, the itinerary continues to the Cyclops’ Eye (Syri i Ciklopit), in the Krrabë administrative unit. This natural formation in the Erzen River valley features a crystal-clear, heart-shaped pool—ideal for relaxing, cooling off during summer, or simply enjoying unspoiled nature. The second day is perfect for adventure lovers and nature exploration enthusiasts.

Day 03

Relaxation and Activities in Nature: Lake Farka
The third day offers a more relaxed pace, focusing on recreation and light outdoor activities near the city. Farkë Lake is located very close to Tirana and is an ideal destination for walking, cycling, and enjoying activities in the fresh air.
The area around the lake offers suitable trails for cycling and walking, spaces for relaxation, and opportunities to spend quality time away from urban noise. Farkë Lake is the right choice for those who want to end the three-day itinerary with peace, nature, and beautiful views, without traveling far from the capital.
