Day 01

This two-day tour offers the opportunity to explore some of the most representative natural, cultural and historical attractions of the Gramsh area, combining outdoor experiences, cultural heritage and local products.

During the weekend, some of the tourist attractions offered by the Gramsh Municipality will be visited, starting with the Holta Canyon, formed by the erosion of the Holta River. The canyon extends over a length of about 3 km, with slopes reaching a height of 100–150 meters, while the water depth varies from 2–3 meters. In this area there are caves and karst pits with thermal waters, which constitute special natural values.

Another attraction is the Waterfall e Sotira, which represents an attractive destination not only for researchers and geographers, but also for visitors seeking peace and relaxation. During the visit, you have the opportunity to enjoy suitable facilities for outdoor activities, such as camping and picnicking, in the green area above the waterfall. The waterfall originates from Mount Tomorri and is located about 16 km from the city of Gramsh.

During your visit to the Lenie area, one of the most visited villages by tourists in recent years, you have the opportunity to visit the Black Lake, a glacial lake with curative waters, located at an altitude of 1,634 meters above sea level, known for its therapeutic properties. You also have the opportunity to explore the churches and arched bridges of Grabova e Sipërme, built in the 18th century, which are located about 44 km from Gramsh, at an altitude of 1,250 meters above sea level. This area has been inhabited since the Roman and Byzantine periods and is particularly known for its development during the 14th–17th centuries.

The area is characterized by natural beauty, cultural heritage, cobblestone streets and old taps. During the visit, you also have the opportunity to get acquainted with local products through a stop at a Biofarm, where organic products of the area are offered, near Liqen i Lisit, also known as Liqen i Zambakëve. In some villages of Gramsh there are also areas planted with lavender, favored by the climatic conditions.

Day 02

The day will start with a short visit to Lake Belsh, a city that surprises with its historical and archaeological values. Nearby is one of the earliest ancient settlements, the Illyrian settlement of Gradishta, which dates back to the Middle Bronze Age. In the 4th century BC Gradishta was an urban center, while in the 3rd century BC it was transformed into a fortified city of the Parthian tribe. The former army depots in Seferan have today been transformed into an art gallery, open to the public and turned into a cultural destination for visitors to Belsh.

To deepen our knowledge of history, we will then visit all the main tourist attractions that Berat has to offer. The castle, as it is known by the locals, is built on a triangular rocky hill. The museum ensemble of the Mangalem neighborhood lies in a crescent shape on the southern and eastern sides of the castle hill.

The Gorica Bridge is one of the most important cultural and architectural monuments of Berat, as well as one of the symbols of the city. It was built in 1780 and later rebuilt in its present form. The city also has a significant number of churches from the Byzantine period, as well as spaces dedicated to traditional crafts and crafts. Berat's impressive architecture is unique; the walls of the houses are built with carved stones that shine with the whiteness of the lime. The castle is one of the most beautiful and important monuments of Albanian history and culture. It has been an urban settlement since the 7th–5th centuries BC and, as an important strategic point, was transformed into a fortified city with walls that extend up to 1,400 meters.

We will then visit the Ethnographic Museum, which has a rich collection of about 1,300 objects, important evidence of the rich culture and tradition of the Berat area. In the open part of the museum, crafts and works that were carried out within the family for domestic use are exhibited. This space is directly connected to the well and the courtyard, where stone carvings and ceramics are exhibited. On the upper floor, in the living quarters, the lifestyle, organization, traditions and customs of a wealthy bourgeois family in the Late Middle Ages are presented.

Accommodation will be provided in one of Berat's traditional houses, which welcome tourists and offer an authentic stay experience.
