Albania participates in the International Tourism Fair FITUR in Madrid, which takes place on January 23-27, an important fair that offers good opportunities to contact media operators and potential visitors from Spain and Portugal. At the same time, it is a very good point of contact for distant markets in Latin America, which may grow in the future. This fair is the largest held on the Iberian Peninsula with around 10,190 exhibiting companies from 165 countries/regions, 140,120 trade participants and 110,860 people from the general public. Albania is presented through the Ministry of Tourism and AKT with 8 tourism operators operating in the Spanish market. During the first day, there was a high interest from the public, the media where several important meetings were held. The fair will last until January 27.
