Under the motto "Let's run together near the Pogradec lake, enjoy the history and natural beauties of this city", The "Enkelana" Marathon takes place, a sporting event that promotes tourism, heritage and the unique nature of Pogradec.
The half marathon (21.097 km) starts from the historic village of Lin and ends in the city of Pogradec, along a new road that runs along the shores of the lake. The mini marathon (11.5 km) starts in the city center, passes through Tushemisht and returns to Pogradec.
Participants from Albania and different countries of the world experience a unique experience: running between green nature and the freshness of the lake. This activity is more than a race – it is a sports and cultural celebration that combines nature with the history of the ancient city of Pogradec. At the end of the event, the winners of the marathon are awarded with the relevant prizes.
