The Municipality of Pogradec and local partners organize the swimming marathon to honor the outstanding swimmers of our city and to promote the sport of swimming. For several years, with the support of the National Olympic Committee and the Municipality of Pogradec, the “Agron Ruvina” Swimming Marathon has been organized, where swimming enthusiasts, young and veterans from all over Albania participate.
The event features the national teams of Albania, swimmers of all ages, both professionals and amateurs. The race distances are adjusted according to categories: 1750 meters for professional swimmers and 280 meters for swimmers up to the age of 14.
