Muradie Mosque is located in the heart of the city of Vlora and is one of the oldest and most representative buildings of the Islamic style in Albania. It was built in year 1542, during the period of Ottoman rule, and is attributed to one of the most famous figures of Islamic architecture in history: Architect Sinani, the royal architect of the Ottoman Empire, also known as the builder of the largest mosques in Istanbul. The mosque is built in a simple and elegant style that represents the oriental craftsmanship of the 16th century. The interior of the mosque is modest, but retains its authentic character with natural lighting and early decorative elements. The mosque is considered to be a symbol of cultural and religious coexistence in Vlora
