Qifqi (oatmeal with nuts and mint, formed into fried balls)
Qifqi is a traditional food from the Gjirokastra area, known for its unique taste and simplicity of ingredients. It is prepared mainly from eggs, fresh cheese, flour and sometimes aromatic herbs. The ingredients are mixed well and then formed into balls or pancakes that are baked in a pan or in the oven.
