Pancakes

Pancakes are one of the most beloved and widespread dishes in traditional Albanian cuisine, present in almost every home and in every area of ​​the country. They are prepared with a simple dough, usually made from wheat flour, water or milk, eggs, salt and sometimes a little yeast or baking soda to give them softness and puffiness. The dough is left to rest for a while and then spooned into hot oil, where the pancakes take their round or slightly irregular shape, frying until they become golden and soft.
