The traditional dish known as “Kuleçët e nuses” is prepared in a special way and is closely linked to a tradition passed down from generation to generation. This dish is prepared with masa (corn flour) and spread with butter, forming into a circular shape. The kuleçët are prepared individually for each family member and for the closest relatives.
According to custom, two weeks after the wedding day, the new bride visits her family, where she prepares “Bride Cakes” as a sign of respect, gratitude, and family connection. After a two-week stay with her family, she returns to her husband’s family, repeating the same ritual of cooking cakes, this time for the husband’s family members. This action symbolizes the preservation of tradition.
