Maliqi is a town and municipality in southeastern Albania, part of the Korça District. It lies in a mainly flat area between Korça and Devoll, in a territory that once included Lake Maliqi, today transformed into agricultural land with high productive values. Its geographical position makes it an important connecting node between the tourist destinations of southeastern Albania, enabling quick access to Lake Prespa, the Prespa National Park, as well as the cities of Korça and Pogradec. Maliqi represents a community center with a consolidated rural identity, agricultural traditions, local products and clear potential for the development of natural and rural tourism.
