The Municipality of Peqin, located in the center of Albania (Elbasan Region), is a place with ancient history, rich cultural heritage and characteristic natural landscapes. Peqin dates back to the Illyrian and ancient periods, when it was known as Claudiana (Clodiana), and was an important point on the historical Via Egnatia road.
