The Municipality of Peqin, located in the center of Albania (Elbasan Region), is a place with ancient history, rich cultural heritage and characteristic natural landscapes. Peqin dates back to the Illyrian and ancient periods, when it was known as Claudiana (Clodiana), and was an important point on the historical Via Egnatia road.
The geographical position near the Shkumbin River offers not only a peaceful natural landscape, but has also played a strategic historical role. Today, the Peqin flows between traditional houses, historical monuments and cultural structures, creating a tourist experience that unites nature and culture.
