The Municipality of Pustec is a rich treasure trove of cultural and natural heritage, preserved and passed down from generation to generation. Located on the northeastern edge of Korça County, bordering the Republic of Macedonia and with a small part of the border with Greece, Pustec is a point where Macedonian and Albanian cultures harmoniously intertwine.

There are 9 main villages in the territory of Pustec: Pustec, Shulin, Leska, Zarashka, Cerje, Goricë e Madhe, Goricë e Vogël, Diellas and Gollomboc. The villages are characterized by a rare natural beauty, lake and mountain landscapes.

The cultural heritage of Pustec is rich and unique. Visitors can discover historical monuments, experience local Macedonian culture, and learn about traditions preserved over the centuries. Local activities include traditional music and dance, community festivals, handicrafts, processing of agricultural and livestock products, and traditional gastronomy that reflects the lifestyle of the villagers.

The territory of the municipality coincides with the watershed of Lake Prespa, part of the Prespa National Park, making Pustec a special destination for nature lovers and ecological tourism. The inhabitants of the municipality, partly Macedonian minority, preserve their cultural and linguistic identity by integrating it into the social and economic life of the country.

Pustec remains a destination still completely undiscovered by mass tourism, a hidden treasure that invites visitors for an authentic and unforgettable experience amidst nature, history, and bilingual culture.
