In recent years, sport fishing in Albania has been gaining more and more attention through associations, competitions and initiatives for the sustainable management of water resources. It contributes to the promotion of nature-based tourism, the development of coastal and lake areas, and the education of fishermen for responsible practices. With better legal regulation, supporting infrastructure and continuous promotion, sport fishing has great potential to develop as a sport and tourist activity in Albania.
